Fantastic. ;)This must be one of the wittiest and most entertaining trailers I've seen. And note that I am comparing it to its actual peers: the trailers of the 1930s and 1940s, which were often "quirky" and based on verbal wit, not to the trailers of more recent times. Thanks!

"I thought otherwise. People just say it's brilliant and say they like it because others say it."Maybe people who didn't see it (but pretend they did). Those who HAVE seen it, especially in its proper historical perspective, mostly say they love it because they love it. I do. I could watch it again and again. There is nothing wrong with disliking a work, any work. What is wrong is suspecting the sincerity of those who have a different opinion about it.

metallic: To be honest, . . . I liked that film. ;)Yes, it's not an easy film to stomach. However, I think one could get over that with a second or third viewing. It's a gritty film because it's a gritty story. But still, it's not for every taste. |
