I don't like the melody because it's so pop. And the line "I wish I was a punkrocker with flowers in my hair"... well, I don't know about that. But everything else she sings is so right! I can really relate to that song

I agree that A Punk should do what he/she wants. But different Punks do different things...Trad Punks, as it seems most of you are referring to, are more into the Primitivist Anarchy, and therefor try to create 'chaos'As appose to a Peace Punk, Anarcho-Punk or maybe Folk Punk, who might want to put a flower in their hair.Not all Punk is about being some macho badass, infact most early Punk was a testament against people who thought they could rule others with ego and power.

I kind of agree with ya there. However, I think some parts of the World do need "real punkers" now. But more modern day versions. Like Green Day for example. Alot of Punks of the old era hate GD and say they're wannabe's. But they show all the characteristics of Punk. They stand up for what's right, same for Sum 41. Deryck Whibley was threatened with deportation for his lyrics about George Bush.

who says that a flower is gay and who says that some "punkers" will never have them in their hair, i think its a great idea, just like when punkers where nikes or something like that. you wannabe think they must have an iro and spikes everywhere and boots. the world doesn´t need more of these real "punkers" like you. Punks mustn´t even listen to punkrock. in this song she means the contrast between punrockers and flowers. but thats to much for your wannabe punk brain.
