We all know that one who holds to a concept of self as reality is the definition of deluded in eastern wisdom traditions .One who sinks to competing over 'truth',singing their own praises, comparing oneself to others ,is a teacher only in appearance. Most salesmen (whether of goods, beliefs, or politics) are successful according to their confidence, most confidence is based on limited vision (failing to perceive alternative viewpoints). It is a great danger to "teach" too soon.
