The 'otherworld' is an overlapping dimension inhabited by the Yamibito and the Shibito. Basically, imbibing the red water (garunteed if you, say, fall into the sea but don't drown dooms you to stay in the otherworld (i.e. in Hanuda, the carrier survivors saw the sea instead of Route 333 like Harumi does).You only turn into a zombie when you die in the otherworld. All the Siren represents is a control mechanism.

Yo meghterb what u mean by one of them stucked in the otherworld. What's the otherworld. Please explain how those 10 people or 2 people made it out alive cause i thought if u hear it you'll turn into zombie.

then you havnt played rs4 cuz its not more scary then this game, i got rs4, completed it in all ways and didnt even get scared first time play (just like first time i played f.e.a.r.) well rs4 got awesome gameplay but this one got it too

Only 2 of then are made it out alive, the others died and turned into shibitos and only one of them stucked in the " otherworld" .The endings are good though.

story:in a village of tokio there's a siren sound every night at 0:00.this siren trasform all the people who hear that into zombies.but there are 10 people alive.those 10 want to know what happening.and so you have to control those people.seriously,i got this game and it suck ass (its not scary,graphic sucks and important thing,the gameplay its nearly impossible

Can someone please comment back tel me what's Siren is about. Like the storyline it doesn't look as scary as RESIDENT EVIL. Because the zombies looks sloppy wobbly like i can bash them with my fist.
