I should have known you were just having a laugh by the haircut 100 line. Although you had it as haircut 1000 which is actually even funnier. But you have the Smiths and the Church so it was a tough call. I know from experience the Smiths have some God awful songs as well as some brilliant ones.

You honestly think the Romantics and Level 42 are better than Killing Joke? Have you even heard any other Killing Joke songs? You do know the riff from the song "the '80s" was ripped off by Nirvana right? I suppose everyone has a right to their own opinions no matter how wrong they might be.

there is something missing in the song... one word "perfection." There are far more greater 80's bands than killing joke. I can mention: the smiths, the romantics, the blue nile, level 42, the adventures, red box, icicle works, prefab sprout, furniture, haircut 1000, B 52's, galaxie 500, the replacement, the church to name but few.
