Because there are Taliban fanatics who would love to score another hit on the west. They dont fight for the Afghan people - they fight for control of the Afghan people. They dont care how many lives they hurt in the process.

Every time a USA/Uk leader visits Afghanistan or Iraq they have to do so in the dead of night, unannounced,surrounded by massive security. If these so called leaders of humanity were genuine why do they need to hide behind huge walls and guns far way? The USA/UK leaders need to show the world that they truly are legitimate liberators and walk and talk to locals in every city/town in Iraq/Afghanistan explaining their plans.The USA/UK leaders need no shoes!
