This book "Suparnatural" is brilliant and one of the most interesting that I've ever read. I highly recommend it if haven't read it already. It has completely changed my view on the paranoraml which is frequently derided by the likes of James Rhandi and conventional science.

when you fall asleep your body releases a chemical that paralyzes you so that you dont thrash around and hurt yourself in sleep. sleep paralysis happens when your mind wakes up right after this stage. all you have to do to over come it is to either go back to sleep, or strongly will your body to move(its like telling it your awake now) ... dont be scared

these things happen as a cleansing of the spirit. before you enter the other world you must first be purified. its kinda like throwing up the toxins you've eaten, but on a different level, it happens physically because you have physicality.sooooo... dont hold your shit in, unless you would be ok with holding it in other ways.... such as, in your hands. its waste, its what your body is trying to get rid of, and if you are in a state of heightened consciousness you WILL feel it.

AS far as the stomach issues and vomiting, I wonder if you would have diarrhea, etc while entering the other dimension. Can you control "waiting" to let all the crap out after the "trip"? That would be a messy gateway!

just go with the flow in sleep paralysis. SP is also a gateway to lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming is a gateway to astral projection.

Hmm I wonder then if sleep paralysis would put you in that state, I suffer from it and when Im stuck like that unable to move or talk I hear sounds and halucinate its not a very pleasant experience..

I bought his book "Supernatural" the day it came out and re-read it again recently. It builds many bridges; a very very important book. Always have been a fan of Terence Mckenna too. Check out deoxy(dot)org if you haven't already. Thanks for posting this. |
