Burnzorz, this comment is as cruel as it is ignorant. If murder was legal, then would it make it ok? A pedophile can choose to act or not to act on his inclination and he is responsible for that choice. To act on his urges is to victimize and abuse a child, to scar someone for life. You don't need a law to tell you that hurting a child is insanely wrong. Poverty and legal loopholes are the standard comment of those looking for an excuse for their crimes.

well the age of consent in some countries makes it okay. In Mexico the age of consent is 12. Prostitution is illegal but I've had people pass out prostitute cards next to cops. All the police want in some countries is a cut of the money. And the bottom line is poverty and the fact that pedophilia is not any more of a choice than being homosexual or left handed is the reason for this. Pedophiles can choose whether or not to have sex, but not who they are sexually attracted to.

Rocker1821, it doesn't matter what she says. Adults are responsible for their behavior and men have always used "she lied about her age" as an excuse to have sex with minors. We need to be intellectually and morally honest with ourselves. Adult males should stick with women they know are adults. There are plenty of them. The truth is these guys want to prey on kids and use this excuse. It's just plain wrong.
