The most IMPORTANT question here I have asked three times; the REST pale into insignificance: "And the BBC's S+O+U+R+C+E was?" - Jane Standley was READING from a monitor; it was not HER job to invent news at her own fancy and caprice; she was REPORTING 'news', as she supposed at that moment, had already happened.No question of imagination or discussion or supposition or calculation or divination!Obviously the S+O+U+R+C+E existed for this 'news' and it had a direct provenance. Where was it?
