Dan Hartman was one of the greatest blue-eyed soul singers of the day. Sadly he passed away in the early 90s leaving a rich musical legacy. Instant Replay is one of the greatest disco classics. Enjoy!!!

Hartman's music is one of the most uplifting, almost gospel-like floor stomping. He leaves a fine legacy of disco music. Countdown/This is It extension on the lp is 10+ minutes of great music. Untimely early death prevented much more of it.

Love it - love it - love it. I remember the local ice rink 'Ice Disco' on a Friday night where we danced our skates off to this... ahhh those were the days. And big deal if Dan suffered from AIDs. Many hundreds of thousands of people have done so and millions with HIV. Ignorance is the real killer - heterosexual and gay alike. Quit it with the homophobic and insensitive comments.

No, Dan Hartman used to play guitar in progressive rock band Edgar Winter Group .Have a look at their hit from 1973 called Frankenstein.
